The HRK Holdings Eastport property is located in the northwest corner of Manatee County, in Palmetto, Florida. The site is immediately adjacent to Port Manatee, the closest deep-water port (42’ draft) to the Panama Canal in the United States. The site consists of 676 contiguous acres with 300+/_ remaining developable. The site is bordered on the west and northwest by US Hwy 41 (over 2 miles of Hwy frontage), with Interstate I-75 and I-275 less than 3 miles away. The site is also served daily by CSX Railroad with direct connect to the CSX mainline.

 

The property is zoned Heavy Industrial (IH), which given it’s proximity to Port Manatee, ideally suited for bulk dry and liquid storage, break bulk storage, refrigerated storage, food products warehousing and packaging, fabrication and assembly, bio-fuel manufacturing and product distribution centers.

 

Currently the site is active in bulk salt storage, bulk fertilizer storage, bulk aggregate storage, and industrial fabrication and manufacturing. Site operations run 24 hours per day, 7 days a week including all holidays.

 

The Eastport site also has a direct link to the CSX railroad mainline. TECO-Peoples Gas natural gas pipelines lie along US Highway 41 on the western edge of the plant site and along Buckeye Road on the south side of the property. The property is ideally suited for bulk dry and liquid product storage, refrigerated storage, food products warehousing and packaging, metal products fabrication and assembly, bio-fuel manufacture and many other similar industrial activities.
